Urbanna Shake Down Cruise

The first cruising event of the year is approaching fast. We will be sailing from Regent Point to the Urbanna Town Marina at Upton's Point, May 3-4. While only a 7 mile trip, this will give you time to shake out your sails and other gear from their Winter slumber. Dinner May 3rd will be at one of the fine restaurants within walking distance from the marina. Then we will sail back on Sunday, May 4th.

Slips are available by calling Dianne Franck, marina manager, at 804-758-5440 and mention you are with RPYC. For those who want to anchor out, Urbanna Marina has a dinghy dock available. Just remember to anchor out of the marked chanel running down the creek.

Please also RSVP to me at newland@cavtel.net, so I can have a head count for dinner.

In case of bad weather, we usually drive to Urbanna for dinner - why pass up a good meal together.
