Sign Up for the Commodore's Ball - Saturday, January 21, 2012

When the holidays have passed and thoughts return to sailing, we will gather at the Crowne Plaza Hampton Marina Hotel on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. for the Commodore’s Ball.

Come in your finest party attire—whether its casual or glittery—and catch up with friends during a fun-filled evening in the spacious Dockside waterfront pavilion. Relive the 2011 sailing season while enjoying the slide show and look forward to 2012 with the changing of the guard and installation of the 2012 officers and board.

Appetizers, a plated dinner, music and dancing with an onsite DJ, two drink tickets, and a couples portrait in commemorative photo folder are included for the $65 per person fee (no price increase from 2011). Click here for the RPYC sign-up form. Print the form, fill it out, and mail, along with payment, to Robin Newland.

For the hotel, a limited number of discounted rooms ($99/night) are being held for attendees. You may call 1-888-233-9527 and use the code RPY to make reservations OR click here and be directed to super-easy online booking.

We ask that you please sign up soon to assist in our planning!

Irene Hammers Marina, RPYC Members Act as Guardian Angels

Many thanks to all of the RPYC members that stayed at the marina throughout Irene, continually checking on the boats and adjusting lines with the changing wind and water levels. Particular thanks to Commodore Greg Groome for his mobile updates sent through the RPYC email server. Those highly-anticipated messages definitely offered some peace of mind to those who were not at the marina. Please be sure to thank our Guardian Angels when you next see them.

Check Out the RPYC Photo Album
