for a great day of SAILING this weekend!
The club’s scheduled sail outing this weekend (August 9) is
planed for a nice get together at Fleet’s Bay. The weekend weather calls
for low 80’s both on Saturday and Sunday. Winds expected to be 10 knots
NW on Saturday and 5-10 NW on Sunday. (Do not hold me accountable if it
changes, I am just the messenger)
We would get together Saturday on the beach at 6:00pm. Bring
orders and “drinks” and have a good old time!
I will be available Saturday morning in the pavilion, for a
captain’s meeting. If you have not had the opportunity to go to Fleet’s
Bay this is a nice opportunity. It is a very nice, fairly protected,
large anchorage with plenty of room. Good holding ground, and a very nice
beach with plenty of room for multiple party groups.
With the hot weather we have had in the past few weeks this is a
great opportunity to enjoy a nice weekend in the middle of August.
